About Back to the sixties
“I then recently found out that D&M Finishers were working with Fairmined gold for plating, I have waited for 15yrs for this to happen so I wanted to celebrate this by making a new jewelry collection in recycled silver or using Fairmined gold either to enhance the silver or to totally cover the piece, which makes larger pieces affordable but still keeping my ethical ethos. A jewelry collection that is 100% Ethical.”
Why Fairmined?
“The back story is that when I went to Columbia and made a film with my son on eco mining in the Choco region back in 2014 and then winning a sustainable award whilst using this gold in my wedding collection has always been key in my work. I have been making large pieces of silver jewelry alongside using Fairmined gold in my wedding collections since I started back in 2007.”
