TAKE AN ACTIVE PART IN THE TRANSFORMATION OF THE SECTOR
When sourcing from Fairmined certified mines you play a key role in the transformation of the mining sector by facilitating their access to formal and international markets. You also help the miners to access a fair price and an additional premium that allows them to invest in the continuous improvement of their practices. This premium is passed on to the final customer.
The certified mining organizations use the Fairmined premium in projects to further improve their productivity, mining sites, working conditions, environmental impact and to promote community development.

BE PART OF THE TRANSFORMATION
Market actors also support the Alliance for Responsible Mining (ARM, non-profit organization that created the Fairmined Standard) through a development fee to assure that more miners can implement responsible mining practices. It is charged to the Fairmined supplier but passed on to the final buyer.
