Fairalloy Joins European Partnership for Responsible Minerals (EPRM) as a New Official Member

Fairalloy, a recognized Fairmined-certified gold and silver supplier, has achieved a new milestone in its commitment to responsible mining by becoming an official member of The European Partnership for Responsible Minerals (EPRM). This membership strengthens its dedication to promoting ethical and sustainable mining practices on a global scale.

The Alliance for Responsible Mining and the Fairmined Initiative celebrate this achievement by Fairalloy, recognising its ongoing commitment to responsible gold.

By aligning with industry experts and stakeholders, Fairalloy aims to contribute to the development of innovative solutions and best practices that promote responsible precious metals, fostering environmental conservation, social development, and economic empowerment. This achievement demonstrates Fairalloy's leadership in creating a more ethical and sustainable mineral supply chain.

Andrés Castellanos, Co-founder of Fairalloy, expresses his enthusiasm about the company’s inclusion in the EPRM network: “Becoming a member of EPRM is a significant milestone for us. We are proud to join forces with other industry leaders who share our vision of a sustainable and ethical gold and silver supply chain. Through our membership, we hope to drive positive change and ensure the well-being of the environment and the communities involved.”

The Fairmined team and the Alliance for Responsible Mining celebrate this achievement of Fairalloy and highlight their commitment to revealing the story behind the gold. “Andrés has championed transparency about the origin of gold; he aims for consumers to understand that behind traceable gold, there are opportunities for positive impact,” says Olga Rojas, Communications Leader at ARM.

Fairalloy's participation in EPRM marks another milestone in their commitment to social and environmental responsibility within the mineral supply chain.

Since its inception, Fairalloy has been a key partner of Fairmined, sharing the vision that every actor in the gold supply chain must take responsibility for their impact, good practices, and fair payments. This new alliance with EPRM will also expand their capacity to influence global policies and standards for artisanal and small-scale mining.

Fairalloy remains committed to transparency and sustainability, and its membership in EPRM confirms its leadership in advancing a responsible gold sector.
