Why Fairmined?
I believe deeply in Fairmined’s mission to transform mining into a force for good. As someone from a resource rich country with a significant mining sector, Afghanistan, I understand that mining can be an important source of income generation, but it can also be a source for exploitation. Putting in place safeguards to not only protect miners, their communities and the environment, but to also help them thrive is the reason I make all my pieces using Fairmined gold.
ORIGINS

This capsule collection is called Origins. It explores the connection between the origins of the designs and materials used in each piece and their impact. I draw heavily on my personal origins using ancient Afghan motifs coupled with responsibly sourced materials including 18K Fairmined gold, fully traceable De Beers diamonds with Code of origin, and lapis lazuli from Afghanistan.
