ABOUT OERA
Oera is inspired by a single motif—Inanna’s knot—a symbol of the ancient Mesopotamian goddess Inanna.
This is a new symbol of protection, a purist interpretation of a sacred knot, inspired by the Modernist sculpture of American artists Isamu Noguchi and Alexander Archipenko.
Stripped back to an elemental form, the design gradually acquires a knife’s edge mid-point, resulting in asymmetric ends.
