About Ms Morgan’s dream continues
The name of the collection sounds strange but there is a hook – the “Ms Morgan’s mercury free dream” ring with Brazilian morganite is our first piece of jewelry made of Fairmined gold.
It was created in 2019, to fulfill the dream of water and earth free from mercury contamination – a dream inspired by the Better Without Mercury campaign, led by Christina Miller and Rolberto Alvarez.
Why Fairmined?
“In 2019, we made a commitment to allocate part of the proceeds from the sale of Fairmined gold jewelry to support the campaign. Since then, thanks to our conscious consumers purchases, we have managed to donate almost 1500 USD for this purpose!
Of course it is a very small drop in the ocean of needs as the issue remains relevant on a global scale. Unfortunately, artisanal gold mining is one of the main sources of mercury contamination in the world.
That is why we think “Ms Morgan’s dream continues” as does our work towards better choices and cleaner environment. The collection is here thanks to the Fairmined 100 challenge to reminds us of that”.
