The FLOW Series in 18k Fairmined ECO gold is inspired by the movement of water, and the texture of calligraphy brushes. You can detect that movement in this ring clearly. Upon closer observation, one can discern what looks to be individual hairs on a calligraphy brush. It reminds one of hair in the wind at the shores of the Atlantic Ocean where I live.

These rings are created in an ancient Japanese technique which uses beeswax mixed with pine resin (it smells so good!) to create each piece individually. They are then cast in lost-wax method. Each ring is unique.

I just love this new technique – each ring is sooo different from the next, and they come into being with such elegant ease.

Adding an ethical certified Canadian diamond, traced mine to consumer, was a logical extension. Echoing a moon rising over water, this 0.52ct SI1/H diamond signifies the rise of ethically mined gold above the noise of all the unknown-origin gold out there.
