ABOUT EARTH CANDY
Our collection for the Fairmined 100 Challenge centers around stunning and ethically sourced gems – a dark blue sapphire mined in Queensland, Australia, a garnet from the Tanzanian Women’s Mining Association, a vibrant emerald from an artisanal mine in Ethiopia, and a long ruby cushion ethically sourced from Liberia. Each stone has a traceable history, a story in which people are paid fairly for their labor, just like the gold it is wrapped in. The pieces are elegant, classical and timeless, true modern day heirlooms that you can feel good about.
Why Fairmined?
We are proud to be a part of the Fairmined family and hope that our actions will influence others to become Fairmined certified. We believe luxury goods should not come at the expense of the people sourcing the raw materials and it is of the utmost importance that everyone is paid fairly for the work they do and that they’re able to maintain strong and healthy communities.
