This peridot is set in 18-carat Fairmined gold, which means that the origin of the gold can be traced back to a mine committed to the protection of the environment, the equitable development of its community, and the improvement of the miners’ working conditions.
Why Fairmined?
From Imelda de Val, we are committed to supporting small-scale mining and the actors behind it, consuming gold from responsible, sustainable, and fair mining for their workers. We seek to generate a positive impact on the people who consume our pieces by sharing the traceability of the gold that each item will eventually carry. This way we feel part of a chain of love from the moment zero to the end.
The challenge empowers us to make more powerful calls to action within our social media community.
