he Rhea Collection celebrates the flow and fruitfulness of the earth and both the minerals and precious metals that come from it. Named after the Greek Goddess Rhea, who embodies fertility and strength, Avery Lee’s debut collection in Fairmined gold represents abundance and ease. The collection mixes Fairmined gold with ethically sourced tourmalines from Malawi and Nigiria, reclaimed white diamonds, and Jade, Jaspers, and Sunstones sourced directly from miners in the American West.
ABOUT THE CHALLENGE
I decided to join the challenge, by making this capsule collection and committing to using 100% Fairmined Gold, because I want to make and sell jewelry that I can be proud of. I love directly supporting the communities of miners and initiatives that encourage better environmental practices for mining. I see this challenge as a way to bring more awareness about Fairmined, traceability, and the most sustainable way to source materials in the jewelry industry. ” Avery Lee
