I have been a jewelry designer, goldsmith, and jewelry wholesaler for more than 50 years and during much of that time have been proactively engaged in promoting and developing responsible mining practices and a transparent, responsible gold supply chain. I first purchased Oro Verde Green Gold in 2010 and in 2013 purchased Coodmilla gold (pre-Fairmined certified, paying a 15% premium as an expression of support for their certification) for my jewelry designs and consistently used Fairmined ecological gold in my bridal jewelry designs.
I have served on the ARM Board of Directors since 2010 and have been instrumental in expanding the number of Fairmined licensees and suppliers in North America.
