Legal representative of the Association of Ancestral Miners of the Cañamomo Lomaprieta indigenous reservation in Caldas, Colombia. He holds a high school diploma and has been working as an indigenous leader over the last 22 years.
Our main commitment is to defend the territory as a collective right. Our organization represents around 400 miners, including small-scale miners and subsistence miners or gold panners.
As defenders of Mother Earth, we are committed to protecting our environment and agroecological sustainability of our territory. We are specifically committed to practicing chemical-free and socially responsible agromining.
